Contemporary Colorado Landscape Painting, Mountains, Fine Art Oil Painting “The Dove Trees” by Colorado Contemporary Fine Artist Jody Ahrens
As I was painting this scene, there was a constant stream of Doves coming and going in the main stand of cottonwood trees. There were so many of them that I wondered how they kept from colliding. When they take off they give off a high pitched whistle so they were very noisy ... but no collisions.
