Contemporary Impressionist Landscape Painting,Colorado Landscape, Fine Art Oil Painting,“A Fall Moment” by Colorado Contemporary Fine Artist Jody Ahrens

For this painting, I went back to the original technique my dad taught me of painting on the textured side of the hardboard. You can see the heavier texture showing through. It was an interesting experiment that made me really appreciate the surfaces I create on the smooth side.
